Every Artisource personalized pet portrait follows a review step before production. This digital proof helps you check the portrait while the artwork is still editable.
1. Upload a clear pet photo
Choose a sharp, well-lit image taken near your pet's eye level. Make sure the eyes, ears, face, neck, and chest are visible. JPG and PNG files work best.
2. We prepare your watercolor proof
We use your submitted photo to create a vertical watercolor portrait that keeps the pet's recognizable markings, expression, proportions, and eye color. A digital proof is normally prepared within 1–2 business days.
3. Review the watermarked preview
We send a watermarked preview to the email used for the order. Check the pet's identity, pose, crop, colors, and selected canvas size. If we need a clearer source photo, production remains on hold while we contact you.
4. Reply with written approval
Production begins only after you reply with APPROVED. Viewing the message or not replying does not count as approval. Please send requested changes before approval because the production file is prepared from the approved version.
5. Final quality and order checks
After approval, we check the final artwork, canvas dimensions, crop, delivery address, and order details before submitting the canvas for production. We never send the sample images shown on the product page as a customer's finished portrait.

Does approval happen automatically?
No. Artisource requires an explicit written approval. We do not approve a proof on a customer's behalf.
